Personally, I think Jules Olitski's art is very interesting, although I am not a big fan of abstract art. What I saw interesting on his art is the one technique he uses to create some of his work. I liked how he used his hands to mix the paint on the canvas and how the texture was created with such technique.
1. Why Jules painted many circular figures or shapes?
2. Why was he considered one of the greatest living painters?
3. Why did he lived away from civilization?
4. Why was he so abstract on his paintings?
